Vauxhall has been involved with the Art Car Boot Fair since 2003 when it supplied a host of cars for the first ‘boot fair with a difference’ (as it was dubbed in the Argus) at the Brighton Photo Biennial. Since then Vauxhall’s commitment has gone from strength-to-strength by supporting the two previous Art Car Boot Fairs in Brick Lane via artist commissions and supplying boots galore for artists to sell their wares. With an ongoing commitment to championing style and design in the UK, Vauxhall is a keen supporter of creativity through initiatives such as the Art Car Boot Fair 2007 and the Vauxhall VX collective.

The artist commissions supported by Vauxhall have included: Gavin Turk, Bob and Roberta Smith, Abigail Lane and Showroom Dummies, Richard Clegg, Ian Dawson, Lucia Helenka, Spaced Out, Sarah Baker, Cedric Christie, Fashion East, The Whoopee Club, Mat Collishaw, Literary Salon, Peter Blake, Ian Monroe, Anthony Gross and Jen Wu.
