PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Pretty Taxing tax disc holder and certificate is both a collectible and a usable artwork. The circular artwork and the certificate are printed on the highest grade, archival quality 100% cotton rag Somerset art paper using light fast, high density inks to ensure a vibrant and lasting reproduction. With the limited edition pieces both the circular tax disc artwork and the certificate are hand numbered with the edition number. Gavin Turk’s ‘Blue Heritage Plaque’ is sold as an unlimited edition at the artist's request. The circular artwork comes inserted into our specially designed clear plastic tax disc holder.

Pretty Taxing will launch new editions of tax disc holders by leading artists and designers on a regular basis so that our customers can build their own in-car art collection. Launch dates of all our new editions will feature on our web-site plus we will alert all subscribers by e-mail. Occasionally we will produce other special signed and editioned pieces.

When installing the Pretty Taxing tax disc holder in your car first place your valid tax disc in the holder behind the artwork facing towards the backing paper – so back to back with the artwork. Ensure that your windscreen is clean and ideally warmed using the in-car blower before removing the backing and sticking the self-cling vinyl firmly to the windscreen. Spare Pretty Taxing plastic disc holders are available by request to prettytax@artcarbootfair.com for £2 to existing customers only.

Pretty Taxing tax disc holders come complete with Pretty Taxing’s own mocked up version of a tax discs so you can display more than one Pretty Taxing artwork on your windscreen (or on any glass surface for that matter). See image below.

All products, logos, and trade names mentioned in our website are owned by Pretty Taxing except for the artworks where the copyright is owned by each individual artist. You may download material from our website for the sole purpose of placing an order with us or simply to browse. However, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute, by any means or in any manner, any material or information on or downloaded from our website including but not limited to text, graphics, video, messages, code and/or software without our prior written consent.

Pretty Taxing is a range of artist and designer created tax disc holders. All products are supplied with application instructions.

We will use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will use your personal information for administration, statistical analysis, marketing and to keep you up to date with developments and news relating to this website.

Pretty Taxing recognise that security is one of the key concerns for the shopper during an online transaction. Therefore we employ PayPal to handle our transactions. You acknowledge that you have not entered into this agreement in reliance upon any statement, warranty or representation made by us or any other person and you irrevocably and unconditionally waive any rights to claim damages and/or to rescind these terms and conditions by reason of any misrepresentation (other than a fraudulent misrepresentation) that is not contained in the terms and conditions, data protection notice, legal notice, order form and payment method instructions. We may alter these terms and conditions from time to time and post the new version on our website, following which all use of our website will be governed by that version. You must check the terms and conditions on the website regularly. These terms and conditions and your use of our website are governed by English law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Except in respect of a payment obligation, neither you nor us will be held liable for any failure to perform any obligation to the other due to causes beyond your or our respective reasonable control. 1. Buying a Pretty Taxing Product/s (the ‘Product/s/s’)
To order a Product/s you will need to follow the ordering procedures set out on our order page. Details of our prices for the Product/s, use of the Product, and the procedures for payment and delivery are displayed on our website. Any times or dates stated on our website for delivery are estimates only. We will make all reasonable effort to deliver the Product/s within the time specified, but does not accept liability for any failure to deliver within that time. You must pay by credit card and or debit card at the time of order. The prices are exclusive of delivery costs and applicable taxes. We will be entitled to refuse any order placed by you. If your order is accepted, we will confirm acceptance to you by online electronic means (‘Confirmation’) to the e-mail address you have given us on ordering. The order will then be fulfilled by the date set out in the Confirmation or, if the Confirmation does not contain such a date, within 30 days. You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing the Product/s will be correct, that the credit or debit card, which you use is your own, that you are over 18 and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of any goods or services. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit or debit card before providing you with any goods or services.

2. Use of the Product/s - Warning
The Pretty Taxing tax disc holder is a bespoke product designed for actual use in your car. It is very important that the application instructions contained in each product and followed to ensure good ‘stick’ to the car windscreen.

3. Returns
You may return any Product/s you have purchased within 7 working days of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including e-mail) within those 7 working days. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days. You must arrange for and pay the costs of returning the Product/s to us. While in your possession, you must keep any Product/s you intend to return to us in good condition. If the returned Product/s are not in good condition on their return we reserve the right to refuse the payment of a refund. If you have any complaints, or wish to send a legal notice you should direct them to us via e-mail only at prettytax@artcarbootfair.com

4. Liability
We promise that for any Product/s you purchase from our website, we have the right to sell the Product/s to you; the Product/s will correspond with the description we have given to you; and the Product/s will be of satisfactory quality. We exclude all other express or implied terms, conditions, warranties, representations or endorsements whatsoever with regard to any Product/s (including without limitation the Product/s), our website or any information or service provided through our website to the fullest extent permitted by law. The limitations and exclusions in this clause do not affect your non-excludable statutory rights and only apply to the extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales.
