Polly Morgan is a member of the Guild of Taxidermists and the unnerving tableaux she creates using animals and birds that have met accidental or unpreventable death have made her one of Britain’s best known sculptors and a huge hit on the international art scene. Her works provoke thoughts on beauty and mortality and are often very touching, highlighting the fragile beauty and vulnerability of the once living, now carefully preserved subject.

For the Art Car Boot Fair she will be preparing a special series of delicate taxidermied works featuring a quail chick lying across the bristles of bone handled toothbrush. They will be available mounted or unmounted and present a rare opportunity to acquire a work from this exciting young artist at an amazing price. A selection of limited edition mugs and cards featuring other works will also be available from the boot of a bright yellow Vauxhall Corsa.
