The Vauxhall ArtCar is carrying
different artists works printed on Contravision and affixed to its
rear and side windows. The car is being driven to various arts events
in London and around the UK in the lead up to the Art Car Boot Fair
in July.
VX Collective artist Lucia Helenka was the first artist to feature
on the ArtCar with her image ‘Hovercraft’, this was
followed by a series of Johnny Shand Kydd’s portraits in association
with Photo-London and the next commission will be images from Henry
Krokatsis’s series ‘Outliers Antidote’.
The ArtCar will also distribute flyers and information on the Art
Car Boot Fair throughout the month of June. Two further art car
commissions will be announced in early June.
