Fox Fisher is a brown, queer, pansexual, non-binary, trans masculine artist, author, filmmaker and educator. Born in London, lived in Saudi Arabia, Fox currently lives in Brighton with their Icelandic partner, three cats and a pointy dog.
After an MA in Sequential Design, Fox was awarded an Honorary Doctor of the Arts by University of Brighton 'in recognition of major contribution to raising the profile, both nationally and internationally, on issues affecting trans people and the promotion of arts in the media.'
Fox is a proud ambassador for LGBT Switchboard, co-founder and trustee of Trans Pride, Brighton. Fox holds interactions with the media through All About Trans. Fox has worked on campaigns with Stonewall, been part of panel chats for Gendered Intelligence, and helped set up a trans acting course at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. Fox also consults on LGBTQIA+ storylines and scripts for television, film, theatre and books including Sex Education, Eastenders, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale.
