Experimenting with high-quality materials and cutting-edge fabrication techniques, my creative practice explores how the sculptural form might capture the raw energy, and frenetic atmosphere of UK sub-culture, and youth-cultures more broadly.
Drawing upon my own experience of the late 80s / early 90s alternative scenes, including punk and acid house rave culture, I aim to grasp at something of the freedom and hedonism of these times through my work. These subversive movements have become part of my DNA, and continue to inform my creative expression both aesthetically and energetically.
