Adam Waymouth has spent numerous years working alongside artists and galleries, including co-curating London-based project space 20 Hoxton Square. He has more recently began to pick up the baton of his own practice, reanimating plans that had sat dormant in sketchbooks and boxes since his art school studies.
Waymouth is now working on a body of watercolour works that continue to investigate the concepts of space and nature. He's looking deeply into colour fields and contrasts of man made marks and ones that feel like they're generated by machines. The delicate alchemy of the process is of utmost importance to Waymouth, in the way that the artefact or image offers up the clues of its making, telling a story.
