Alice Herrick is a London based artist whose multi-disciplinary practice involves drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, photography and performance. Alice studied painting at Kingston University (BA) and Chelsea College of Art (MA). Alongside her art practice, she has worked in film, arts education, live arts & exhibition curation and also founded galleries in Shoreditch and Mayfair.
Especially for Flora & Fauna, Alice has created new limited edition prints from two paintings depicting flowers grown by artist friends on their Pudding Mill allotment during the heady days of the summer of 2019. That same summer Alice gathered poppy petals to press and paint, while in residence at Kestle Barton, Cornwall. These precious and fragile petals have now taken on new life in 2021 in a series of erotic drawing collages entitled 'Petal' and a limited edition print 'Ghost of Summer Past'.
