Catherine Lette is a painter living and working in South London. With a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martin’s, Lette participated in the Turps Off-site Painting Program 2019-2022.
Lette’s work is concerned primarily with the figure and questioning the impact of contemporary life upon body and mind. Inspired by current events and daily life, she uses drawing, painting and collage to explore embodiment and disembodiment in the real and virtual spaces that we live in today. Lette is a finalist in the Ingram Prize and Hari Art Prize 2022 and has participated in numerous group shows, curators' selections and been shortlisted for the Jackson's painting prize. Her work is held in private collections in the UK and internationally.
