Emma Harvey is a London and Kent based artist. Feminist. Vegan. Painter & Linoprint-maker. Emma is primarily an oil painter, however she also likes to work with gloss paint in her pop-art styled paintings, alongside her riot grrrl, punk-rock fuelled hand-cut lino prints. Emma regularly exhibits nationally, and internationally both in galleries and alternative spaces.
For the Flora and Fauna edition of the Art Car Boot Fair Emma is revisiting her rather engaging feminist riot grrrl flavoured series of 'Ponies Against Patriarchy' paintings, producing a new 'fruity' series on 10x10cm square canvas, only available for sale at the Art Car Boot Fair. Emma also has some special oil studies painted directly on to vintage flower book plates featuring some new circle paintings that she is currently working on (until we get to see her large circle painting series collected together on a gallery wall), alongside a couple of new riot grrrl flavoured hand cut lino prints.
