Jayne Wright is a West Yorkshire born musician and artist now based in Margate, Kent.
Art works:
- The Mermaid Army: a collection of sculptures, plaques and tiles. Exhibited extensively including Cliftonville, Ramsgate, Weston Super Mare, Bridlington, Newport, Wales and Turner Contemporary, Margate
- Long: a ceramic art installation in The Cupboard at Liminal Gallery Margate
- Water Features, Tulip Vases and Reusables
Projects:
- Thanet Tiles of Joy: an ongoing community ceramic art project with over 2000 local participants and 16 public tile sites
- Long: a ceramic installation at Liminal Gallery Margate
- The Mini Pottery Throw Down
- Yellow Art Wall
Her work is steeped in narrative, exploring positivity and joy.
In 2024 she founded JAW Ceramics CIC to further the community art projects.
