The subjects of my paintings are things I've collected from around my home. Working in acrylic with pencil on paper and canvas, what start as studies of coffee frother pots, houseplants, cups and cutlery, become pieces that explore questions around process, space, line and colour.
My time with Turps has been a massively positive experience. Being part of a conversation with other painters has opened up a space within which I can question and challenge myself about what is going on in my work. It’s a process that just keeps growing.
