Lindsay Seers is amongst the most singular artists of her generation. Her original and ground-breaking works are held in some of the most significant museum collections in the world, including Tate, Arts Council of England, MONA (Tasmania) and MTA (Lebanon).
Since her graduation from Goldsmiths College in the early 90s, her large scale installations have been exhibited in internationally in galleries such as SMK (National Gallery of Denmark); Venice Biennale 2015; Hayward Gallery, UK; Turner Contemporary, UK; Tate Triennial, UK, TPW, Canada; Sami Centre for Art; Norway; Centre for Contemporary Art Poland and Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Sharjah Art Foundation.
The recipient of numerous awards, in 2013 Seers was winner of Le Jeu de Paume at the Toulouse Festival. She has also received the coveted Paul Hamlyn Award, the Derek Jarman Award and the Sharjah Artist’s Production Award. Lindsay Seers is represented by Matt’s Gallery, London.
