Lucy Jagger
Jagger is a London based figurative painter, making narrative paintings drawing upon memory and popular culture as inspiration.
She was awarded a Sarabande Foundation Residency 2021/22 (established by Lee Alexander McQueen) and participated in Turps Banana offsite programme 2021/22.
For "ACBF Space" her paintings map out the space between emotion and action, celebrating feelings of love, exhilaration and mischief, "I want to convey that explosive sensation of desire or the butterflies you get when you are near someone you long for."
