Ruth Hudson is a British artist working from her studio in Rutland. With a BA in Fine Art, Art History and English Literature, she enjoys telling stories with her bold and punchy prints.
Ruth is an experimental printmaker. her linocuts are printed in her studio using an 1856, cast iron lithograph press. Ruth's new work focusses on the strength of line and form which her chosen medium lends itself too. Her new linocut prints express movement and feeling inspired by a traditional sense of pattern, historically used in wallpaper designs and repetative shapes.
