Rebecca Parkin
My work takes the form of ongoing narrative cycles which are played out along similar themes of gender, social fantasy and sexuality. Low-fi popular culture, art history, mythology and fan cultures are interwoven into my part anthropological and part fantastical investigations.
Rebecca is currently exhibiting with a solo show at The Zabludowicz Collection. She has also recently shown at South London Gallery in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2021, The Austrian Cultural Forum in The Blue, The Pink, The Immaterial, The Void and at Trumans Brewery in Gertrude Presents.
