Rohan Daniel Eason is a British Illustrator and artist, living and working in London. With a BA HONS degree in Printmaking and Book arts from Croydon College, and an honorary degree in painting from Kingston University, he has spent the last 15 years professionally illustrating the world around him from his studio in Tottenham.
He is best known for his beautifully intricate ink drawings that appear in and on over 40 published books, including four for the little wizard himself, Harry Potter, while his animated work for UNICEF broke fundraising records during the Syrian refugee crisis.
Now his meticulously crafted technique, combines with a joyous conceptual foreplay, to create paintings that live and breathe outside of the printed page. His artwork attempts to reconcile a lifetime of precision and boundary with an innate need and will to document mistakes, to affirm instinctual inspiration, and to paint with the freedom and purity of complete absurdity and abstraction.
