Villain's stunning graphic and print work playfully subverts Pop Art and the comic book genre. While much of his work celebrates Polari (the lost gay language) and asks us to imagine a past where homosexuality was never criminalised, his more recent work plays with distortions of classic comic book characters and Pop Art tropes.
