Yutao Gao
Yutao Gao is a rising star in the Chinese and European photography scenes. Born in 1988 in China, Gao studied at the esteemed Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf.
Recipient in 2016 of the prestigious Three Shadows Photography Award in Beijing, in the years since, Gao's work has been exhibited alongside major international artists Damien Hirst and Andreas Gursky.
Technology and craftsmanship are at the heart of the practice, engaging with the emergent questions around the future of representation.
