Vauxhall have been the title sponsor of the Art Car Boot Fair since 2004 and we are delighted to be bringing the event to the area of London where the original Vauxhall Motor Car was produced in 1903. Vauxhall’s range spans all mainstream sectors of the vehicle market with best-selling model names such as ADAM, Astra, Corsa, Cascada, Mokka, VIVA, Zafira and Insignia regularly topping the sales charts. Vauxhall is also the largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in the UK. The company employs c5000 people in the UK and exports three quarters of its production.

Newport St Gallery and Other Criteria.
The idea to move to Vauxhall came about through a visit to the fair by Damien Hirst in 2015 who opened the doors of his award winning Newport Street Gallery in October 2015 to present his impressive Murderme private art collection. Designed by Caruso St John, the building won the 2016 RIBA Stirling Prize for the UK’s best new building. The Art Car Boot Fair is delighted to be working closely with Newport Street Gallery as well as linking with Beaconsfield Gallery just up the road, The Cabinet Gallery in the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, Chewdays on Lambeth Walk and Gasworks near the Oval.
Vauxhall One is a non-profit organisation owned and led by local businesses in Vauxhall. They support a multitude of local initiatives including architectural, landscaping, recyling, and social, to make the area a great place to work and spend time in. The Art Car Boot Fair is keen to be involved with as many local elements as possible ad Vauxhall One have been introducing us to lots of relevant people and helping with local publicity.
We are delighted to be working with Lambeth Council to ensure the involvement of as many local residents and businesses as possible, we appreciate their support, enthusiasm and involvement as we bring our event to this area for the first time.
