'Progress' a series of 52 different etchings based upon the engravings of William Hogarth. A deconstruction of the original Hogarth engravings, re-etched upon copper plates, a re-imagining of the familiar 18th century imagery. Originally made as a series to be housed in a private dining room in one of the few remaining buildings that were part of the East End Bethlehem Hospital site (Bedlam Asylum). These etchings will now be printed in a limited edition for the Art Car Boot Fair. Plate size 20cmx30cm printed on heavy handmade paper with aprox. 5cm border. Signed and numbered, edition of 50.
