Cardinal Pietro Bembo accepted Lent was supposed to be tough, being a time of sacrifice and reflection and all that, but this year it seemed to drag more than bloody lockdown. Things were hard enough as it was without having to give up his favourite snacks! All he wanted was a giant cheese sandwich made on soft, thick seeded granary bread with sweet tomato relish, rocket leaves and spicy mayo which dropped all over his beard when he bit into it. So was it cheating when he hopped onto Amazon Prime and ordered a box of 36 packets of Wotsits? I mean, they weren't *really* cheese, were they?
