I am creating a series of pencil drawings titled 'Twitchers', which will be available for the September live event. These observational drawings appear to transcend beyond the physically material into physiological states bound within the domestic sphere. Spaces of intimacy, fantasy, judgement, suspicion and self-disclosure.
A netted veil that jostles between the ego and id, playing a role in middle distance. Potent with fictional narratives, they are inspired by the art of story making and image breaking, like a child willing repeated forms into being; wallpapered patterns turning monster as whimsical shadows play with light.
