Medals are all very well and everything, but what happens if you don't get one? At Haus of Lucy we believe everyone's a winner, so we think it would be nice if every athlete at the Olympics was handed a Smiley plate just for taking part, to show them how clever and special they are.
Personally I could have done with one of these at school because I was always last to be picked for games and there was even an audible groan when a team realised they were stuck with me. If someone had given ME a smiley face plate it would have made my day and saved a fortune in therapy fees.
We recommend this pretty plate is not actually used to eat from, but instead, display it on your Mid-Century G-Plan sideboard and wait for the compliments to come in. Free plate stand supplied!
