The two panels depict an event (panel 1) and the promise of a new day (panel 2).
They represent, resilience and hope.

The paintings are derived from a catastrophic crash I was in, the overall aim when making these images was to be real about those events, they have left a mark and I wanted to represent this through spontaneity of a monoprint line, but also to convey, through embellishments in embroidery and paint, an overarching sense of joy. My aim with the second panel is to communicate that everyday is (maybe not quite a blank canvas) but has potential.
